Tech Tuesdays Starting in May

Beginning in May, Livingston Municipal Library will host “Tech Tuesdays” technology training classes.  These free classes, held on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month, will allow people to bring in their own laptops and tablets and learn in a group setting.

Classes will include Windows 10 (May), iPad and iPhone Basics (June), eReaders and OverDrive (July), Android Basics (August), and Microsoft Office (September).  Tech Tuesdays will take place from 3:30pm – 4:30pm in the library’s large conference room and are limited to six people per class.  Each month will be dedicated to a different topic, so if you are unable to attend the class on the 2nd Tuesday, it will be repeated during the 4th Tuesday.

Please note that these classes are informal; learners will gather as a group and ask questions and get assistance with a specific topic.  You will not be required to stay for the entire hour if you do not need to, and are welcome to come and go as you please. The library will continue to offer its weekly one-on-one training sessions, for those who require more in-depth help.

To register for Tech Tuesdays or to schedule a one-on-one training session, please contact Sabrina Jackson at (936) 327-4252 or library@livingstonlibrary.net.
