TuesdayEdge of Imagination Station (Part 1)
During this two-day workshop participants will use The Edge of Imagination Station while working with Johnny Villarreal to create a unique music video. The first part of the workshop will be used to create cardboard props and pieces and plan out the shoot. During the second half students will use the library as the backdrop as we bring the props and the library itself to LIFE using stop motion animation and rotoscope techniques. Rotoscoping is an animation technique where artists trace over footage frame by frame to produce realistic action. Get ready for a hands-on experience of the frame by frame kind! Kids will work on the video from 1pm - 5pm on the 10th and 11am - 3pm on the 11th. Registration for this program will begin on June 21st. Please call the library at 936-327-4252 or email lsantiago@livingstonlibrary.net to sign up for this workshop.
