Julian Franklin's Heroes without Capes
"Who hasn't dreamed about having the ability to fly? Or wished they could turn invisible? Or wondered about having the strength to effortlessly lift a car? In this show we explore the myriad superpowers possessed by heroes and heroines of literature, but we also explore the realm of everyday heroes. Not just the soldiers, agents of law enforcement, and educators who work tirelessly to protect us and lift us up. But also the possibility that each and every one of us has inside of them the potential to be a hero every single day."

Earth Science on Wheels: Science Sort/Fossil Dig
"Science On Wheels: Science Sort gives students the opportunity to play paleontologist, as they embark on a mini fossil dig of their own to find shark teeth, shells and more! Students first will prepare to identify fossils, learning about the many kinds of fossils there are, how fossils are made, and what various types can tell us about ancient life. Next, they are provided with samples of real fossilized sediment to analyze and compare to a fossil identification guide, using the scientific process to determine the origin of fossils they uncover. Sponsored by the Houston Museum of Natural Science."
