At this Spring Break activity, children will build and race their own go-carts! This event, sponsored by Youth for Better Life, takes place over two days. The car-building workshop will be held on March 15 (Tuesday), and the Pine Wood Derby Race will be held on March 18 (Friday). Both events will take place from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. The public is invited to watch the race on Friday.
Registration is required. Registration begins now and March 5. Late registration is March 12. The event is limited to 50 children. All supplies and snacks will be provided free-of-charge.
Youth for Better Life is a non-profit organization dedicated to funding wholesome activities for the youth of Polk County. Donations are welcome and much appreciated.
